Testing Your Web Server for CompatibilityIf you already have hosting or your own server then create a blank file named "phpinfo.php", put this code into it: <?php phpinfo(); ?>, upload this file to your webserver and run it in your browser (e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/phpinfo.php). In the very first line it should say "PHP Version X.X.X", this will be the version number of PHP that is installed. Scroll down to the Configuration / PHP Core section and find the safe_mode variable Finally, scroll down to the section titled "mysql" to find your version of MySQL (Client API version). |
